You Ready For This?

Oh man what a week.

 

To start with, my band director just doesn't think I'm 'musically ready' to take on Wind Ensemble (That is, the advanced band class)

 

So now I'm stuck in Concert Band with none of my regular band friends, doing stuff that is too easy for me. I don't see how my director thinks I can improve this year if I'm playing at or below my level.

 

I was already not looking forward to having to take PE this semester, so now this second half of the year will not be very enjoyable.

 

However, I managed to pull all A's on my report card, thanks to some great finals scores.

 

I got an A- on history, A+ on the first part of my math final, and I did pretty good on English. I have to check my science scores but I'm feeling good.

 

And tomorrow...It's off to Disneyland! I'm beyond excited to return with my friends for the second year in a row, and the first year in the parade.
