Saving Daisy

Journaling says: I don't even like cats. Why would I ever own a cat? They shed, they purr too loud, their tongue feels weird, cleaning the litter box is gross, I would never want a cat. I always thought this growing up. Well, I am not done growing up, and we have a cat. She had been hanging around for quite a few days. She would leave and then come back. We would throw leftovers over the deck for her. She ate them all up, left, and came back the next day and the next. After a few days of doing this she just became comfortable to hang around. She was starving, for attention, and for food. We have now "adopted" her as our own, and decided to call her Daisy. You can usually find Daisy sitting on the front step or taking a nap on the deck. Daisy was just ready for a new home and we were able to give her one. June 2005
