Countryside House
This house is in Mosquito da Horta, a remote rural region in Santiago Island, Cape Verde.
The house appears to be made of concrete blocks reinfored with rebar—typical contemporary house construction in Cape verde. This house has a triangular roof and is painted, which makes it more finished than most houses I saw in Cape Verde.
Note the antenna on top of the house. I did not learn what kind of antenna it is, or how they use it. They don't have running water or power lines out here, but they certainly must have a power generator.
The building to the left is the kitchen, which is made of the more traditional rock construction.
