Measured Behavior

He sits steady, shoulders square, expression unmoved. The monkey bends into its practiced pose, robe falling exactly where it should. One body trained to perform. The other trained not to react.

 

Control isn’t always force.

Sometimes it’s repetition—

until even the absurd feels orderly.
