Puddle Frog

Yellow Bellied Puddle Frog (Occidozyga laevis) - Danum Valley, Malaysia

A Yellow Bellied Puddle Frog seen in a small puddle in the jungle at Danum Valley in Borneo. These frogs were common in my experience and could be seen in just about any standing water in the jungle from rain puddles on the road to waterlogged elephant tracks in the forest to muddy pig wallows.

You can easily see how this frog gets the name yellow-bellied in this photo.
