Minneapolis Blue Line
Of the two lines that comprise the Minneapolis Metro ligh rail system, the Blue Line is the older, opening in 2004. Its rolling stock comprises 27 Bombardier Flexity Swift trains, supplemented by later deliveries of Siemens S70 units. One of the Bombardier trains called at Government Plaza station, dwarfed by the City Hall/Hennepin County Courthouse building and the Art Deco CenturyLink Building. One part of the US Bank Plaza can be seen at the left.
