High above Hythe
The parish church of St.Leonard stands high above the Cinque Port of Hythe and Romney Marsh. The English Channel can be glimpsed beyond. Its origins date back to the 11th century. After being damaged in an Earth tremor, the tower was rebuilt in 1750.
