a. Hold small, squirming pet in air while taking many photographs from various angles and lighting conditions. Repeat until pet tries to scratch you or pees on your foot.
b. Choose background bar photograph from recent road trip. A run-down bar on Route 66 in the Arizona desert will do nicely.
c. Turn work desk into temporary run-down bar. Borrow cigarettes and ashtray from mother (I don’t smoke) and photograph various beverages and containers, paying close attention to shadows and reflections.
