I'll continue with the yard theme I started yesterday. Today, you get to see my half-finished walkway in the backyard. I worked so hard on it through the winter...tilling and leveling the soil, laying plastic sheeting (to keep the weeds out), then laying sand (a good leveler) and finally positioning the bricks. It was soooo much hard work...then stuff happened and I got busy and I didn't get a chance to do the last step...fill in the spaces with concrete. Now Fran (the dane) has started 'helping' by digging up the flowerbed next to the not-quite finished walkway. That means dirt between the bricks...and weeds and grass are sprouting up in Fran (the dane's) dirt. Argh. My goal is to have a completely finished, no-weed walkway by the end of the summer!
