Goodbye layout

This is a layout I did for All About Me's Challenge #4: Turning Point, and I used a sketch from the Everything Scrappin' blog. Even though I didn't use the circular photo seen in the sketch, I was inspired to do the dashed line (which I did in silver pen and pearls) and the title up the side (even though my title was too long and I had to continue it at the bottom of the layout.

The story: When I got out of a four-year long relationship in January of 2009, I realized how much I had missed out on since I was always busy hanging out with him. Since then, I've gone to two concerts (one with a friend and one with my mom), I've been out to Orlando twice, once where I stayed with a friend and once where I staid in a hotel by myself, and I've gone out more with girls from work.

I wanted to use these photos since they show how much fun I've been having since January. I thought the Passport paper and embellishments from Vintage Findings would be a good play on the word "Goodbye." The title is from a song from Shinedown. I didn't want my journaling to be seen, so I tucked it in a Vintage Findings envelope behind one of my photos.
