JA5515 - Docherty, Auchterarder - Leyland Tiger TS7 - Windovers
Seen heading south on the A9 towards its nearby base at Auchterader, Perthshire is Docherty's Midland Coaches Leyland Tiger TS7 with a Windovers of Hendon C32F body. Supplied new to North Western Road Car of Stockport in 1936 and fitted with its present body in 1950 .
My wife who was driving at the saw the coach up ahead in the distance and put her foot down for me to get the rear end shot and then we passed the coach and accelerated down the A9 to a convenient lay-by to get the front-end view just before the coach took a right - turn into Auchterarder. Phew! Then I breathed a sight of relief! : )
