Drawing #105: Angel, Anteater, World Weary Traveler: June 27, 2012

 

Here's the story - I am in the battle - it's spiritual warfare - like no other - today I really got hurt - I was talking to a spiritual leader in the community - I was talking to them about helping their community create sustainable jobs and sustainable food supply via creating a worker cooperative grocery store in their neighborhood and they tried to literally sell me Amway. Now, I have nothing against Amway for some people, but this was astonishing - what I am offering is a way for groups of people to have sustainable income, democratic leadership, local currency and local food - that does not involve feed lots and gmo's and high fructose corn syrup, and what they were talking about is a few getting very rich at the expense of many... that's the old system that has caused the problem to begin with...

 

It just blew me away - like a shot gun - and in the drawing - its a big cut on my left leg - the left side is the intuitive side - the leg is the thing that keeps me moving - so it was a "set back" in moving forward - and there are 2 angels - that share 1 arm -

 

the angels are going to sew up my leg - the one on the right has the compassion and the one on the left has the needle and thread - both are needed -and behind her is the dragon - the Reptillian force that is blocking the Light - the thing about it is though that it's an illusion - it looks bigger and stronger but all we really have to do is ask Jesus to stand between us and it and it just disappears "Through Christ all things are possible" -

 

The lesson here is that I only get hurt when I give my power to a person and then find out that they have lost their way - the challenge is to rely on God.

Here, the World Weary travler pauses to wipe her brow and she uses the rejuvinating hand of the Angel - the Anteater symbolizes lethargy, curiosity and nosiness in native legend - so what does this mean ? As a result of her curiosity and innocence and a certain naivete and also a certain belief in people the Traveler has her heart handed back to her in pieces a lot -

 

Once again the traveler is shocked by her discovery of the smallness of people - the unwillingness of people to work together for survival

 

and this shock leads to amazing spiritual exhaustion. Curiosity killed the cat. It's a risk you have to take - none of us get out of this deal alive.

 

Through prayer, the World Weary Traveler is rejuvenated by God ...

 

I am reminded of the Peace Pilgrim
