Batumi Summer Theater

One of the most striking buildings in Batumi is the Summer Theater. The wooden facade features large round windows as well as cascading geometric patterns in alternating lighter and darker finishes with carved ornamentation. Inside, the ceiling over the orchestra is painted to mirror the sky. The stunning theater is the place to be during summer festivals, when the town becomes a veritable stomping ground for theater and dance troupes from around the world.
