Devonshire Tunnel - Groundworks

The yellow pip in the foreground marks the site of a core sample to answer the question of the cutting's fill. i.e. what it's made of. The new tree on the left appeared at Christmas, which makes it a christmas tree. It certainly has a present underneath it. About 40 feet underneath it.
