Back to photostream

It is no secret to me that my mood changes with the season. The darkest, coldest days of winter have always been most difficult. I will shoot countless frozen landscapes by the time the first brave green sprouts pop out, yet I will feel so blah that I will scrap most of them. Perhaps it was the unexpected sunshine and blue skies today, or maybe it was the realization that this is my last week for awhile that I can pass the time by taking a drive with my girl. Regardless of the reason, I actually like this shot.

Leaving Hope is one of my favorite songs. I often listen to it while driving, especially when I am feeling melancholy or introspective. I probably should have chosen a different video because this one makes my photo look lame in comparison, but this is the kind of imagery that needs to be shared.
