Today I learned a hard lesson on detaching with love. I didn't ever think I could. I also didn't think I would ever want to detach from someone I love so much in a very special way. But, today I know it is because I do love this person so much that I must detach. I want everyone to be ok, and this is the right thing to do to make that happen.
I will always have a special place in the core of my heart for her. I know she knows that. But for now I will put my heart in a safe place.
