It’s better to take a good shot of the tress within the metropolis than to take some shot of the gruesome aftermath after Ondoy’s visit especially in Metro Manila. Apparently we already know the reason of the huge flood which damage homes, infrastructures and lives.
As victims of Typhoon Ondoy begin to start life anew after their homes and properties were devastated, the question of where to get the money and resources is top of mind for most of them, where no one had control of the situation.
There is an old cliché : Prevention is better than cure. But I believe we can prevent this kind of calamity if we maintain the balance of our eco system, just one single tree will greatly benefits everyone. It was maybe the lesson but still it’s not too late. Filipinos are all survivors!
