Tonight I am posting 5 of my landscape images that I really love. Landscapes are not appealing to all people and what one might like, another wont. The 5 I am posting are these:-
1. Island of Moorea looking towards Tahiti in French Polynesia
2. The famous Bali Hai from the Musical "South Pacific" Island of Moorea
3. Erosion in a creek in the Foothills of the Lamb Range near Emerald Creek
4. Cinder Cones in the Light in the Crater of Haleakala Volcano on Maui, Hawaii
5. Overlooking a boat ramp at Rocky Point towards Thornton Peak, Daintree Rainforest
5. Overlooking a boat ramp at Rocky Point towards Thornton Peak, Daintree Rainforest. Thornton Peak is the 3 rd highest in Queensland at 4500 feet and you can see it in the distance here at the left. It is in the Cape Tribulation area which is my favourite part of north Queensland about 130 km north of Cairns. The Daintree/Cape Tribulation is the section in blue. Famous for tourism.
