Interesting Algae on Granite Boulder - Barron River Atherton Tablelands

There are lots of granite boulders in this area as it was once volcanic. A lot of weathering has occurred but some have spectacular algae growing on them such as this one here. More photos from this lovely Barron River area not far from Tinaroo Dam on the Atherton Tablelands.
