Around the bend we meet a crew of local teens playing on a submerged sandbar in the river. They were thrilled to see a group of older gents in kayaks and had quite a time trying to impress the out-of-towners as they paddled by.

 

And now, to quote the Southern philospher, Forrest Gump: "That's all I have to say...about that."
