St John's Wort
Here's another bloomer in my garden, always a welcome sight every early summer - and it goes on blooming for a long time !
I don't know how long I've had two bushes of these, I cut them back hard every year, but they never give up on me π.
Don't eat it, by the way, it's toxic to humans and animals, so watch what your animals are eating in your garden, should you have this plant there !
Thanks as always for having a look, my Flickr friends. May you never need to take an extract of this plant. It's a herbal remedy best known for supporting mild to moderate mood issues, easing nerve pain, and soothing skin conditions. Its active compounds, like hypericin and hyperforin, give it mild antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. ONLY its extract, professionally prepared !!
