Over the past few months, after my election as Lexington County Party Chair and while our County Party was experiencing growth and success, a number of folks from around the County approached me to consider running for the South Carolina Senate.
After prayerful consideration with my husband Jimmy, my family, and folks from throughout the district, I have decided to seek the Republican nomination for the South Carolina Senate in District 23.
Why choose to get involved in State House politics now? Because I believe it is time for us to once again have representation in Columbia that we can be proud of as Republicans.
