Goat Statue, Vevay, IN

A painted goat statue in Vevay, Indiana. These painted goats are all over town. They honor Fred the Goat, a real goat who escaped his owner and became a local legend by living freely on a hill above Vevay, frequently seen overlooking the Ohio River Valley. Fred passed away in 2013, and the town created these goat statues in his honor.
