Smoot Theatre, Parkersburg, WV

A repainted ghost sign for the Smoot Theatre, 213 5th Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia. Built in 1926, this was originally a vaudeville house, but was purchased by Warner Brothers in 1930, and for the next 56 years was used primarily for movies. During that time period, Warner redecorated the building, transforming it into an exquisite, posh theater.
