I attended a workshop by Lanny Bergner at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newburg, Oregon.
He does these amazing sculptures using wirecloth and simple tools. I can attest each piece is labor intensive; my hand is still recovering from making this basket/bioform today.
Lanny was very open to sharing his techniques, the class was interesting and we all came away with our own complete creations. See images of Lanny's work here.
