Hotel della Baia
Tramonto2
The hotel offers a sandy beach, behind which is a pine forest whose floor is a carpeted with typical Mediterranean “maquis” or shrubs, which are rapidly disappearing from the coastline elsewhere in Italy. These include Ilex, the “divine” myrtle, lentisk, wild roses and a profusion of flowering plants. Close to the shoreline you will notice the silvery sheen of the juniper and in Spring, thousands of cyclamen and anemone begin to flower amongst hedges of oleanders and roses. And on the beach, one of the most beautiful flowers that nature has given us, the highly perfumed sand lily.
The hotel is not far from a protected natural park, an oasis, called the Parco del Garigliano, which is open to visitors.
