Sarasota - "Border Crossing" in Mobile Estates

Two homes in Mobile Estates, a mobile home park in Sarasota, Florida. The sign on the home on the sight (magnified in the inset) tells the story. This home is owned by an American, and the home on the left by a Canadian. Both are "snowbirds," i.e., winter residents in Florida.

 

I deliver Meals on Wheels to three people in Mobile Estates. Most of the streets are named for old brands of what used to be called "house trailers," back when trailers were actually movable, rather than in fixed locations.
