Springfield - Loyd and David (1942)

A studio portrait of my brothers Loyd and David (twins), around one year old. We lived in Springfield, Illinois at the time. I have a home photo from about the same time, but my brothers' hair was neatly combed for tis occasion.

 

This photo is an indication of how my father's fortunes had improved in the years since I had been born. A studio portrait was something of a luxury.
