Filming a Comedy
Our house is in walking distance from my office, so I normally come home for lunch. On Thursday I noticed this young man in a large SUV sitting at the corner. When I came home at the end of the day he was dropping flyers in our mail box explaining that Going Nuts Productions would be filming for a show on APTN at the corner on Friday. Well here is what it looked like on Friday. The scene they filmed four times in about 5 minutes consisted of the woman in the track suit running, being tripped on to the foam mat and then being shot three times. There was some dialogue that I could not hear. I watched the filming with a neighbour who is a professional dancer and has done some work for TV, he commented that filming for TV was the worst kind of work cause it involved doing the same thing over and over again. He said they would shoot the same scene 6 times just to get the light right. And I thought TV was glamourous.
