A Matched Pair
Two CDV's from the Wright Family Photo Album II, that were carefully placed together in that album. They are by noted photographer Henry W. Immke, Princeton, Illinois, and probably date to about 1880. I'm quite sure they were a couple.
Photographer Henry W. Immke had a studio in the "North End" business district in Princeton, from 1867 to 1923. The Bureau County Historical Society (I'm on the Board of Directors) owns around 23,000 of his glass-plate negatives, along with ledgers identifying each of them. We also have much of his camera equipment on display in our museum.
