Junior catching up, finally!

I'm not sure if Sandhill Cranes consider juveniles to be lazy delinquents the way their human counterparts do, but this youngster landed next to its parents with a slightly guilty look about its beak...

While it may look like there's just a flock of random birds at first, after a while it becomes clear the Sandhill Cranes are organized as families, almost always two adults and a youngster together. And while I'm unsure if these adults are the same as in the previous photo, the youngster knows exactly who its parents are.
