Double Arch

We took a day off of riding and went to visit the National Parks. This is a cool place to park and walk to several arches. Here you can see Turret Arch, Double Arch, North Window and South Window.

 

Ever wonder what causes these arches? Natural arches are formed within a rock wall such as the Windows or they can be free standing like Delicate Arch. They usually occur in the weak layer of the rock after years and years of water and wind erosion.
