storevault s550 reliability is a questionable feature. The storevault s550 is a feature rich SAN that;s very useful for backup and for network storage such as windows users shares, databases, and other information technology storage needs. It ha a nice disk drive setup that allows for fault tolerance and for redundancy so the data is safe. however, it's network connectivity has come into questions a it seems to go not be responsive to network connections randomly and with varying levels of severity. sometimes the unit will respond again and other times it will not and require a restart.
