I never know who else picks up on these things and relates. :)

Phil relates:

While ambling procariously through the dream state, it just so happened that a stack of banana's were laying on the kitchen counter. Staring at them, they were ripe enough for eating, but the strangest sensation began eminating from my eyes. It was as if a giant invisible tongue protruded from my eyes, dissolving the unpeeled skin until the tips were exposed. Tasting now from my eyes, discovering that much to my displeasure, they were not fit for consumption. I hear a voice from the other room, my ever knowing mother asked if I would bring her one. A fleeting thought of, why yes, let her discover this for herself. ; )

After waking in the real world, loosely phrased of course, as if the dreamworld is not as valid, while going to the kitchen, peering out the window, glancing above, a mantis perched near the flood light above the sink. Was it stuck in some nefarious web? Coaxing it into a container, it would have none of that, and quickly dashed over a faucet handle. Not wanting to chase, extending my left hand near it, crawled up as I headed outside. I thought of taking a picture while in my hand. Thinking this, the mantis turned it's head around looking directly at me. Whats odd is a thought began echoing in my head of 'letting go' in a more natural surrounding.

Looking around, haphazardly, 'we' agreed that this setting above would do. This was a day before clicking on one of my contacts and her creative rendition of the same theme. I was a little shocked, but given her poetic disposition, not very surprised that somehow in the ether we each saw the same vision. What I find surprising, however, that this mantis decided to perch here, the symbolic 'wood head', given she was a female, and the near perfect wood replica of 'wood mantis' with no head was a fitting landscape for a melding of ideal minds.
