I used a compact Canon camera with manual features(A75). Camera mounted on a flash bracket which also allowed me to mount an optical slave with a hot shoe next to the camera. In the hot shoe I mounted the Vivitar remote sensor cord which fired my 285HV set up on a light stand aimed at a white translucent umbrella. Rig was set to the left of the baby about two feet up. Strobe fired via on camera flash set to low output with exposure controlled by the Vivitar sensor at the camera position.
