UW-Madison students, faculty and staff gathered in the Bascom Hill TelePresence Classroom in the Education Building on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 to inaugurate the powerful new videoconferencing device through a virtual meeting with Chancellor Biddy Martin and Vice Provost for Globalization and Dean of International Studies Gilles Bousquet in Beijing. Bousquet is leading a follow-up trip to China in May 2011.
