Islamic Cairo

This is the mid-14th century Mosque of Shaykhu, about which I know very little, as it is currently closed for renovation (like half the buildings in Islamic Cairo, or so it seems!). The mosque is just down the road from the Sabil-Kuttab of Qaitbey, on Shari' Saliba.
