N88887 Douglas C-54E Skymaster

Visiting Basle in summer 1987, this was the last commercially active DC-4 in Europe. Note the larger cargo door than standard for the type. It now stands at the Berlin Airlift Memorial at the former Rhein Main Air Base in Frankfurt.
