D-ABEH Boeing 737-130 "Solingen"
Pushing back at LHR in the early 1970s. This was the 10th 737 built, being delivered in April 1968 and serving with Lufthansa until 1981, when like many others in the fleet it was sold to US start-up PeoplExpress. In February 1987 that company was effectively taken over by Continental Airlines and the aircraft was re-registered as N33202. It was retired in November 1997 after close on 30 years of service overall.
