Purple Martin

I made a quick stop in the community of New Brighton. It is interesting that a nesting box for Purple Martins has been erected. This is the first recorded site for these birds to be nesting in Calgary in the last 80 years. The gentleman has gone through great lengths with the city to have it approved.
