Adult and Juvenile Swainson's Hawks

I took a wrong turn the other day going to a different part of Weed Lake. I ended up on a dead end road and as I was driving in the adult hawk was screaming at my car the whole way. I had seen small birds harrassing it and thought that was the problem until I got to the end of the road and stepped out to see what was in a tree. The adult came swooping at me and I grabbed my bicycle helmet very quickly to prevent being scalped! I only took a few photos of the juvie and then I was on my way again!
