English Electric Type 4 No D243 in the shed yard at 55H Leeds Neville Hill.

 

Built at Vulcan Foundry Ltd. Newton-le-Willows (Wks No E2717/D460) and delivered on 6th November 1959 to 52A Gateshead she became 40043 in January 1974 was withdrawn in January 1976 and scrapped at Crewe Works in April 1977.
