Andy's Bath 1
This bath had the same floor plan as Skip's bath, To make it easier to enter and exit the shower, we moved the shower towards the exterior wall, and from behind the stool.
The 8 inch galvanized pipe you see is the new double wall B-vent pipe installed. The old pipe had to be relocated and was removed entirely from the furnace in the basement all the way to above the roof line. Aside from being in the way of the new shower, it was further compromised by having holes drilled in it and electric wire run through it. (sharp metal+electric wire+very hot furnace exhaust=bad).
The shower drain had to be moved 18 inches so the concrete floor was dug up, the pipe was replaced, and the floor patched. You can see the new drain located in the new PVC shower pan
