few years back, when i was still studying, we had an assignment for the scenography lecture to take whatever book, poem, song, movie etc. we like and to create our visual version of it if it would be an stage production. i chose the mad tea party from alice in wonderland and made those almost-two-dimensional dolls. they are sewn onto corrugated fiberboard and are about 25-30 cm tall; their background forest is about 60x100 cm and their fine china is from soft felt.
