Indiana, Madison, Second Presbyterian Church; John T. Windle Memorial Auditorium
The Second Presbyterian Church was built in 1834 in the Greek Revival style featuring the classic Greek temple front with Doric order columns. The brick walls are stuccoed and painted white; however, some has flaked off, revealing the brick. Two fluted Doric columns mark the entrance. Five square pilasters flank each side of the entry and continue around the side of the building.
The Church vacated the building, and it was renamed the John T. Windle Memorial Auditorium. The building is in the Madison Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property.
