Texas, Fort Worth, Stockyards Bank Building; Fincher's White Front, Western Store

The Stockyards Bank was constructed in the early 1900s by the Armour and Swift Companies. Constructed in the Mission Style, the two-story building features a stucco masonry surface; arched openings on the ground floor; a red tile roof; eaves with exposed rafters that extend well beyond the walls; and center and corner balconies topped with curvilinear parapets. The bank closed, and in the mid 1970s the building was occupied by a western wear retailer. The building is located in the Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property.
