The structure that housed the Robert Morris Inn was built in 1710 and was the childhood home of Robert Morris, Jr. a signer of the Declaration of Independence and financier of the American Revolution. The building with mansard roof with cedar shake siding, punctured by dormer windows and decorative trim has been expanded over the year with last renovated in 2003. The building is located in the Oxford Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a contributing property.
