This photograph of the former Milwaukee Road In Bound Freight House office was taken in 2002. The structure had undergone renovations and was converted to a coffee shop. The renovation revealed the decorative cornice that were covered in my 1986 photo. The warehouse and docking area was demolished to make way for a Marriott Residence Inn to the rear of the former office.
The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad Station, Train Shed and Freight House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The office for the In Bound Freight House is a contributing property.
