Atlantic City Railroad, New Jersey, Historic Cold Spring Village, Woodbine Tower (Relocated/Reconstructed )
The original tower was built in 1894 at Woodbine Junction along the Atlantic City Railroad. The tower was known as the Woodbine Junction Train Tower. When the tower was no longer needed by the railroad it was cut in half and the upper portion was moved to Swainton, New Jersey where it was used as a commercial building. In 1974, the that part of the old tower was acquired by Historic Cold Spring Village. In 1999, the acquired portion was placed atop a new base that recreated the original tower.
