C-131D Samaritan, U. S. Air Force (50295), Dover Air Force Base, Air Mobility Command Museum

The C-131D Samaritan was manufactured by Convair. The aircraft in the photograph was in civilian service before going to the U. S. Air Force in 1954. Sometimes after 1983 the aircraft went back to civilian ownership. In 2015, the aircraft was on static display the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base.
